![]() I get a lot of questions about the best places in East Tennessee to get crystals. So, here is a list of the places I go to the most to source healing and decorative crystals and stone jewelry. There are other places I might pop in once in awhile, but these are my favorites: Stones of Spirit (on Kingston Pike in Knoxville): Linda, the owner, really loves stones and curates a varied collection of beauties. It is also a good place if you want to chat. And if you don't know what stone you need, Linda makes good recommendations (especially if you are gifting stones to someone). Go Nutrition Knoxville (on Kingston Pike north of Turkey Creek): Their selection is huge, well-organized, and well-labeled. Their prices are decent and straightforward. Illuminations Metaphysical Store (on Downtown West Blvd). The have a selection of crystal jewelry and artwork and a few used new age books. Little River Gem Mine (across/near Knifeworks in Sevierville): This place is quirky, but the gentleman who often works there has an intuitive connection to stones and their history. You can also get tons of colored glass and large stones here. Pigeon Forge Gem Mine (I think it is near a country general store on the Parkway): Not the most personable/knowledgeable staff, but they have some good stones and prices. They also carry the Crystal Bibles by Judy Hall so you can look things up yourself. Online: www.healingcrystals.com is the place that I go to online mostly. I will also get pendulums from etsy. Good Tips: Have your smartphone ready to google "healing properties of [crystal name]" to find out what each one does. I like the summaries provided on the charmsoflight webpage. Think in terms of your needs. A stone can stand alone (3-4 clear quartz points around it can amplify effects), be a part of a grid (so you might need multiple same sized stones), or be worn (I prefer bracelets). Stones can be cleared with smudge (smoke from burning white sage), sunshine or moonshine, touching selenite (a salt based stone that is always clear), or with energy/intention/Reiki. I hope this helps! Leslie *a disclaimer: I don't get any money or perks from these places that I am recommending.
