WiseheARTS! I am so thankful for you! I am sending a little holiday boost of Reiki to each one of you who have allowed me to assist you a bit with my magic. I am wishing you the best of everything (especially those things that money can't buy). May all beings be well.
I am trying a new thing, posting a channeled message. So here we go...
My guides say, "breathe into the truth of your wholeness, health, and love. You already are everything in energy. All Leslie does is remind you and nudge you closer to remembering the feeling of being in your home of Light and connection. It is not that energetic changes are afoot, but that Truths that have always been are being realized, being remembered. Work to raise and clear your vibration so you can stand in the Truth and help others do the same. Clear the debris from your inner eyes. Understand your little (but important) corner of the web of All, understand the health and integrity and dignity of all your connections (cords) to others (including beings, places, and time). Are you retaining your energy to make your node on the web a bright shining jewel? Do you keep the light on at the expense of others? You can shine by pulling from Higher sources instead of draining those around you. You can be a power station raising the Light of those around you. Many feel so depleted in this time. We can work to remind them of the Truth of Oneness and connection to the Divine Light. The Power of the Divine Source of All Things flows through all of you with as much power of a thousand suns, but you forget and unplug because of fear and shame. How can the Divine not be fully itself? And Everything is the Divine. What is in the space between atoms, building blocks of all? ENERGY, the BIG BANG in every moment, GOD who is the Creative Force and the Binding Force. Many Beings wait to partner with you in the new remembering. Call on your Spirit helpers to enfold you in Love and Remembering."
My service fees have been stagnate since 2015, prices across my different services (tarot, communication coaching were valued less than Reiki) varied making me feel that my time was worth different values. And the math could be a little confusing!
I have spent many years in study, and spent resources gathering books and training and healing tools. It takes time to set up and prepare for a session. I also have to pay for the space to do the work. I consistently provide services beyond the time limits if that is required to truly serve the highest good of a client, and do not charge for my extra work/time.
I have been meditating on the issue of abundance, speaking with my guides and friends, and studying metaphysical texts related to manifesting. Because of this work, I am slightly changing my fee structure.
From this point on (current clients with a fee agreement with me will be grandfathered in), I am setting my tarot, coaching, and Reiki fees at a consistent rate (my current Reiki rate). Fees will be broken into the fee for a 30 minute session or hour session of 90 minute session regardless of type of service. I will still offer a bulk deal for 4 hours of services. My current rate at the Knoxville Museum of Art's events will remain the same, my general event fee will be determined by my costs to participate in the event.
Charging for "metaphysical/healing" services is a touchy subject. However, I make the decision because I believe I offer a valid and useful service to clients. I believe that money is energy and this work is enhanced by an equitable energy exchange between client and practitioner. I believe that I deserve compensation so I am able to afford to be able to do the work, just like anyone else who provides a service.
I have participated in Vestival, South Knoxville's spring festival for 2 years, but decided not to participate this year. So if you would like to still get a reading or reiki from me, please send an email through the CONTACT page of this site or email firstname.lastname@example.org for scheduling.
Don't just lose physical weight to fit into your bathing suit for the summer, consider losing negative energy too! Negative energy can drain and deplete you. I would love to help clear your energy for the summer! Let's get you to be your shiny best!
I get a lot of questions about the best places in East Tennessee to get crystals. So, here is a list of the places I go to the most to source healing and decorative crystals and stone jewelry. There are other places I might pop in once in awhile, but these are my favorites:
Stones of Spirit (on Kingston Pike in Knoxville): Linda, the owner, really loves stones and curates a varied collection of beauties. It is also a good place if you want to chat. And if you don't know what stone you need, Linda makes good recommendations (especially if you are gifting stones to someone).
Go Nutrition Knoxville (on Kingston Pike north of Turkey Creek): Their selection is huge, well-organized, and well-labeled. Their prices are decent and straightforward.
Illuminations Metaphysical Store (on Downtown West Blvd). The have a selection of crystal jewelry and artwork and a few used new age books.
Little River Gem Mine (across/near Knifeworks in Sevierville): This place is quirky, but the gentleman who often works there has an intuitive connection to stones and their history. You can also get tons of colored glass and large stones here.
Pigeon Forge Gem Mine (I think it is near a country general store on the Parkway): Not the most personable/knowledgeable staff, but they have some good stones and prices. They also carry the Crystal Bibles by Judy Hall so you can look things up yourself.
Online: www.healingcrystals.com is the place that I go to online mostly. I will also get pendulums from etsy.
Have your smartphone ready to google "healing properties of [crystal name]" to find out what each one does. I like the summaries provided on the charmsoflight webpage.
Think in terms of your needs. A stone can stand alone (3-4 clear quartz points around it can amplify effects), be a part of a grid (so you might need multiple same sized stones), or be worn (I prefer bracelets).
Stones can be cleared with smudge (smoke from burning white sage), sunshine or moonshine, touching selenite (a salt based stone that is always clear), or with energy/intention/Reiki.
I hope this helps!
*a disclaimer: I don't get any money or perks from these places that I am recommending.

Love and Light!
I have moved out of my East Scott Avenue office into a house. It is still in North Knoxville in a quiet little neighborhood. I still have boxes to unpack, but the Reiki treatment room is up and running (and is beautiful and calming). I also have the furniture moved in, so it is possible to do coaching on the couches and tarot on the dining room table!
It is a little charming house that I am naming "Blue Jay Meadows". As per British tv tradition, every good house needs a name. When I signed the lease, I saw a very prominent Blue Jay, and he was back when I started moving in. I took this as a good sign; one of my spiritual symbols has been a blue feather for many years. I added "Meadows" to the name because the yard is quite large and full of other birds and rabbits and squirrels. And my name, Leslie, means "from the low meadow." Anyways, I totally recommend naming your house too!
Onto the next Chapter of the WiserheART Center!
Check out the cool symbolism of Blue Jays:
"Likewise, those with the blue jay as their totem are quite loquaciousness, and have the gift of gab. Common vocations of those with the blue jay as their totem are sales people, lawyers, politicians, public speakers, and teachers. Animal symbolism of determination, assertiveness, and intelligence is also a shared trait among those who claim the blue jay as their totem (and also common attributes with those having the vocations above listed). We see these characteristics in the blue jay because it is fiercely bold against its enemies. The jay is fearless when it comes to protecting its partner, young and territory. So too are those with this animal as their totem. They will defend their positions against adversaries who seem much more powerful than themselves - often with successful results.Blue jay animal symbolism resonates truth, faithfulness, and solidarity because they are vigilant in their tasks. They also keep the same mate for life, which is symbolic of endurance, patience and loyalty. The jay is an excellent symbol for those wishing to honor their long-lasting bond between friends, family and lovers. In the spiritual realm, the blue jay speaks of clarity and vision. In Native American symbolism (namely the Sioux Nation) the azure of the jay against the blue sky indicated a "double vision" or double clarity. This visual/spiritual "blue on blue" concept speaks of purity of the soul, truth of the heart, and clarity of thought. In dreams the blue jay animal symbolism also deals with clarity - but of higher thoughts, and taking action. When we dream of blue jays our deeper selves may be telling us that we are not being honest with ourselves about something, and it's time to "come clean" with our thoughts. Blue jay's in dreams are also symbolic of taking action in the direction of our highest truth. The jay asks for honesty, and forthrightness - any other action taken (such as deceptive or dishonest action) will mean double jeopardy for us in our waking hours."
I believe in spirit helpers (the Divine, angels, spirit guides, light beings, higher self, ascended masters, animal guides, etc.). And I believe that our divine helpers communicate with us all the time. You just have to establish the language and symbols.
I get a lot of signs from spirit in the car. I have lived many years in Tennessee, but grew up in Michigan. I find when my thoughts ask for comfort, I often see Michigan license plates at that moment I need reassurance. Or songs on the radio answer my inner dialogue.
I also see feathers on the ground (considered signs from angels) when I could use some proof of their presence. Or finding coins is often seen as a sign from deceased loved ones.
Animals and insects are also signs; if you have an unusual animal encounter, google the symbolism. When I found my new house and signed the lease, a very bold blue jay stopped by. Blue jays symbolize communication, fearlessness, and clarity. Great omens for my fresh start!
I hope you will figure out how spirit speaks to you. It can be a huge comfort to converse with the Universe and know that you are not alone.

During the month of October (expected to be totally finished by November 1), I am moving into a new house. Because of this change, I have decided to shut down my external office space on 428 East Scott Ave to save some money. But the new rental house is super cute and will be large enough to fit in some WiserheART magic!
I will still be able to do Reiki, tarot, communication coaching, book groups, and workshops in the new space. Plus, those of you who have visited my current office know about the difficult climb to get to the bathroom. That problem is solved in the new house! LOL
And the house is just 5 minutes north of the current office location in a quiet little neighborhood. I won't post the address online, but will send people the address when they schedule appointments.
The main difference is that my sweet puppy, Kindred, will be there during sessions, but she is a old girl and likes to stay out of the way and nap. Below is a picture of my little love.
Have some patience with me as things get shuffled around this month. And I hope you will schedule a WiserheART session and help me start filling the new house with wonderful healing energy and good vibes!
Annie added more details to her drawing of me. Check out the cool Reiki symbols. This is the final version. She is so talented! I am going to use the image on promotional fliers around town to get the word out about the WiserheART Center.
